Terms of use

Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and 5scatter, who operates 5scatter.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data and forms part of these terms.
What 5scatter is, and what it is not
5scatter is two things: a public catalogue of slot games and the studios that make them, and a tracker for recording bonus hunts.
5scatter is not a gambling operator. You cannot gamble here. We do not take bets, run games for money, hold player funds, or process deposits or withdrawals. We hold no gambling licence in any country and we do not need one, because we do not offer gambling.
Games marked as demos are played in a practice mode provided by the studio, with no real money in and no real money out. Nothing you do on 5scatter can win or lose you money.
We are not neutral about being paid. Some pages link to licensed casino operators and we may earn a commission if you sign up through one. That arrangement is set out in full on our affiliate disclosure.
Age and eligibility
You must be 18 or over to use this site, and 19 or over if you are in Ontario. If you are below the legal gambling age where you live, you may not use 5scatter.
Casino operator links are only shown to readers in countries where we are permitted to show them. If you are in a country where we are not, you will still be able to read the slot and provider information; you will not see links to operators, and no attempt to work around that is permitted under these terms.
Your account
You need an account to use the tracker. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
One person, one account. Do not create an account for someone else, and do not create one if you have been excluded from gambling and would find this site unhelpful to your position — we would rather you did not.
You can delete your account at any time from within the site. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally unable to.
Your hunts and the data you record
What you record is yours. You decide what goes in, who you share a hunt with, and whether it is private. You can export it and you can delete it.
Accuracy is yours too. The tracker performs arithmetic on the numbers you type. It does not verify them against your casino account, and it cannot. A hunt is a record you keep, not a statement of fact we stand behind.
Shared hunts. Invite someone to a hunt and they can see that hunt and what is recorded in it. Only invite people you are willing to show it to. If you record someone else's details — a nickname, a balance — do it with their knowledge.
Aggregate statistics. Bonuses recorded in hunts that are neither private nor hidden contribute to the anonymous aggregate figures we publish on /stats. Nothing that identifies you or your hunt is used, minimum sample sizes apply, and marking a hunt private removes it from every figure computed afterwards. Section 1.6 of the privacy policy sets out exactly what is and is not included; read it before you decide.
Using the site properly
Please do not: scrape or bulk-copy the catalogue; try to break, overload or get around the security of the site; use the site to break the law where you are; upload anything unlawful, abusive, or that is not yours to upload; impersonate anyone; or use the site to promote gambling to people under the legal age.
Our catalogue is available for people to read, not to be republished as a dataset. If you want to use it for something, ask.
Our slot and casino information
We take the accuracy of the figures on this site seriously, and our editorial policy explains the rules we apply — in short, a figure comes from the studio or the operator's own published material, its source is recorded, and where we do not have a sourced figure we leave it out rather than estimate it.
Even so: studios change games. A game's return-to-player setting can differ between operators and between versions of the same title, an operator can change its terms without telling anyone, and a figure that was correct when we recorded it can be wrong today. Always check the game's own information screen and the operator's own terms before you act on anything here.
RTP is a theoretical figure calculated over millions of spins. It does not predict any individual session.
Nothing on this site is financial advice, and nothing on it is a prediction of any outcome.
If you find something wrong, tell us and we will correct it — the route is on our editorial policy.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a casino operator, we link only to operators licensed by the regulator for the country you are reading from. We check that against the regulator's own public register, and an operator with no current licence for your country is not shown to you at all.
That is the extent of what we can promise. We do not run those sites, we do not control their offers, their terms, their games or their conduct, and their terms and privacy policy — not ours — govern your relationship with them. Read their terms before you deposit anything.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including the tracker, at any time. We will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on where we can. The site is provided as it is; we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when we last did. If a change materially affects you and you have an account, we will tell you.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit — and if you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected by anything here.
Beyond that: we are not liable for gambling losses. We do not take your bets, we do not run the games, and no information on this site can change the outcome of one. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any operator we link to, or for indirect or consequential losses.
Gambling responsibly
If gambling has stopped being enjoyable, or you are spending more than you meant to, our responsible gambling page lists the help available where you live, including free confidential support lines and the national self-exclusion scheme, which blocks you from every licensed operator in your country at once.
